One of the eyesores of Livorno, sitting just next to the “Parterre”, is the former Pirelli factory.
While part of the compound, the administrative offices, are now used by several non-profit organizations, the once busy sheds were practically let to rot for years.
Part of the L-shaped structure is used for some kind of storage, but the rest is almost crumbling.
I heard that there is a project to transform this space in an archive or a library of sort but, in the meantime, nature is taking over.See also: Parterre - Ex-Pirelli
